Inspiring and Recognising Excellence Across the North of England

As a not for profit, membership based organisation, North of England Excellence is dedicated to helping its member organisations in their pursuit of excellence through a wide range of benefits including free advice on any business improvement topic,seminars, networking, workshops, conferences and best practice exchange.

Since 1995 North of England Excellence has been the name behind the prestigious North of England Excellence Awards, which incorporates the North West and Yorkshire Business Excellence Awards. Run each year these Awards seek to recognise excellent organisations through rigorous assessment against the requirements of the EFQM Excellence Model by a team of experienced Award Assessors. Applications from both Assessors and Applicant Organisations are invited in January and February of each year.

There are now 3 categories of membership:

• Joint member
• Joint member (for current individual members of the BQF)
• Governing Member
