North of England Business Excellence Awards
Applying for the Awards is an excellent opportunity to:
- Discover where you are on your journey to excellence
- Showcase your organisation as a leader in your field
- Receive an independent feedback report listing the strengths and areas for improvement for your organisation
- Encourage the production of a structured improvement plan based on the feedback report
The 2010 EFQM Excellence Model© is used as the framework for assessment. To enter you will be asked to complete a structured workbook which looks at your achievements from two perspectives "How do you go about your business" and "What results are you achieving". All applicants receive a site visit from a team of experienced Assessors.
The Awards are presented at a glittering annual celebration of Excellence attended by several hundred businessmen and women from across the North of England.
Award Categories
Category Awards are available for the following sectors:
- Private organisations with 250 or more employees
- Private organisations with fewer than 250 employees
- Public organisations with 250 or more employees
- Public organisations with fewer than 250 employees
- Voluntary, Charity and ‘Not For Profit’ organisations of any size
- Educational Establishments of any size
