Lean Six Sigma Green Belt: 5 Days

The majority of organisations in this country are faced with the need to drive improvements in productivity, quality and customer satisfaction in order to remain competitive.  Increasingly, these organisations are choosing Lean Six Sigma as the way to achieve such goals.

In becoming Lean Six Sigma Green Belts, attendees will learn how to contribute to and lead Lean Six Sigma improvement teams.  Participants will gain a strong knowledge of how to apply the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC methodology with a primary focus on process mapping, lean tools and methods as well as graphical analysis tools.  Participants receive 5 days of intensive, workshop-focused instruction.

This class is designed for both manufacturing and service organisations.

Who Takes This Course

Green Belts should spend 20% of their time on projects.  They should deal with projects that are within the scope of their normal job and typically deliver savings in the region of £25K.  Green Belts tend to be project leaders, and they rely on Yellow Belts to provide subject matter expertise, data gathering and support.

Green Belts run projects alongside their normal duties - so Engineers, Managers, Supervisors, Accountants, Project Managers, Front-Line Staff and Mid to Senior Level Executives will find  this course exceptionally useful.
